Our Mission

It is the mission of Antelope Valley Futbol Club to provide all of its players with a positive experience playing soccer. AVFC wants to create a family atmosphere where coaches are about and value each player. We hope to develop young men of strong character who strive to excel on the soccer field. It is our mission to build champions for life who possess the following life skills: commitment, responsibility, discipline, work ethic, positive attitude, and teamwork.

From the Start - AVFC

Our History

Founded in 2010 by Jack Larkin descent to support all sporting activities in the City of Lancaster, but especially to grow the game of Soccer in Palmdale and Lancaster. The original name of the club was the Lancaster Rattlers. In that very same year, the club opened its first Lancaster Rattlers and became Antelope Valley Futbol Club (AVFC) club was already one of the strongest in the Palmdale & Lancaster area.

The next 4 years AVFC teams brought 2 straight State Championships. In 2018 the Second State Championship was brought 2022 the First Team went on a Tour, traveling to Arizona, North Carolina along the way. They ended up winning the tour against National Teams. Through the years the AVFC has been home to many great players. played for the US National Team (Miguel Ibarra) Over the years, there have been several professional soccer players (Christian Pato Diaz ) who played in Atlas Mexico and have also played in the club.

Since then we have built one of the largest and strongest youth soccer clubs in the Palmdale and Lancaster area. With over 475 boys and girls combined. AVFC currently has teams of all ages.

AVFC will emphasize the development of the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological areas of the game, completing and helping each individual player reach his or her potential. Regardless of the age and ability level of the players, AVFC will strive to create a positive environment that validates the self-worth of each player and engenders a lifelong love for "The Beautiful Game of Soccer".

Antelope Valley Futbol Club's empathy, teamwork, and sportsmanship will benefit them long after their youth soccer. AVFC will emphasize the development of the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological areas of the game, with the longer-term goals of producing well-rounded, complete soccer players and helping each individual player reach his or her potential.
